Vista Higher Learning (VHL) was founded by José Blanco to revolutionize language learning as a specialized education company with a student-centered mission. José, a former instructor and native Spanish speaker, had a vision to create extraordinarily high-quality world language courses that would boldly integrate content, technology, and media.

Proven content and technology

Created as a separate division of VHL, Vista Academy uses proven content and a proprietary LMS as tools to design courses that can provide a distance-learning approach in world language education. Experienced and fully trained instructors, certified by Vista Academy, will deliver effective and engaging instructional services.

During the first year, Vista Academy will offer Introductory Spanish courses. More levels and other languages will be introduced at a later stage. Vista Academy is flexible, effective, and provides a rich learning environment in which students can meet and exceed language proficiency.

VHL is uniquely positioned to understand the needs and expectations of world language departments in these institutions.
